Precision Labelling is the industrial labelling division of Recognition ID. Same building in Hallam, same lasers and UV presses, same people, now set up specifically for identification, marking and compliance work rather than awards and recognition.
Industrial labelling usually comes with minimum quantities, fixed catalogue sizes and a two week lead time. We built this division around the opposite: one-off plates, no set dimensions, fast dispatch, and a technical data sheet for every material so your site can be signed off as soon as possible.
These Terms of Trade apply to every quote, order and sample request placed with Precision Labelling, a division of Recognition ID (ABN 19 754 802 731), 2/60-62 Abbott Road, Hallam VIC 3803.
By requesting a quote, placing an order, or submitting artwork or order information through this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Trade. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
Prices shown or quoted are indicative, provided on application, and exclude GST and freight unless stated otherwise. A quote is not a binding offer — an order is only confirmed once we have issued a written order confirmation and, where required, received your approved proof and any deposit or purchase order. We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or specification errors before production begins.
Production begins only once you have approved a proof in writing. You are responsible for checking spelling, part numbers, dimensions and colours shown on the proof — your approval confirms these details are correct. If you supply your own artwork, it must be print-ready; we are not responsible for reproducing detail that isn't present in a low-resolution file. See the Artwork & Proof Approval and AI-Generated Imagery disclaimers on our Resources page for further detail.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due per the terms shown on your invoice, issued separately by our accounts team. Custom orders may require a deposit or payment in full before production begins. Goods remain our property until paid for in full, and we may pause production or dispatch if payment is overdue.
Delivery and lead-time estimates are our best assessment at the time and are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, suppliers, or events outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to goods or services we supply is limited, at our option, to repairing, replacing or re-supplying the goods or services, or the value of the order in question. Material- and process-specific warranty terms are set out in the Warranty & disclaimers section on our Resources page. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Because our products are custom-made to your approved proof, orders cannot be cancelled once production has started, and custom items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Let us know within 7 days of delivery if something isn't right, and we'll assess it and, where appropriate, repair, replace or refund the affected items.
You retain ownership of any artwork, logos or content you supply to us, and you confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We retain ownership of any artwork, layout or proof we create on your behalf until it is paid for in full, after which you may use it for the purpose it was created for.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

When you submit a quote request, sample pack request, or order through this site, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, delivery address, and details about the labels or signage you need, including any artwork or files you attach. We do not collect payment card details through this site.
We use this information to prepare quotes, process orders, arrange delivery, and communicate with you about your enquiry or order. We may also use your contact details to follow up on a quote or send something you've specifically asked for, such as a sample pack.

These providers only use your information to perform the service we've engaged them for.
